BRANFORD (BLW) RIM LOCK COMPLELTE SET: w/KEY & KEEPER & ESCUTCHEONS  (16056)
Vintage, rim lock is maker marked BRANFORD.  BLW was one of the premier makers of American Hardware during the second half of the 19th Century.  Comes with the key
and both escutcheons and the catch latch or 'keeper'
. Box measures 4" wide by 3 1/4" high.  Backset (the distance from the front edge of the faceplate to the center of the knob hole) is 3 1/4".
We have bead blasted it to remove all the old dirt, grime and paint and then applied a coat of clear lacquer.  Heavy duty & high quality, flip lock functions just fine.  The lock is reversible.
