    Description

For bid is an original June 1929 "THE MUSEUM JOURNAL" published by the Museum of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.  Magazine has about 88 pages inside its brown covers.  Here are the four main articles:  "A New Expedition to Egypt" by H. H. F. Jayne; "Two Sections of Chinese Fresco Newly Acquired (Great Kuan Yin -Guanyin- Wall of China)" by Helen E. Fernald; "The Bride of Tongass: A Study of the Tlingit Marriage Ceremony" by Louis Shotridge; and "Turquoise Mosaics from Northern Mexico" and "Zapotec Funerary Urns" both articles by J. Alden Mason.  This is a terrific reference on anthropology and art museum history.
Magazine is in outstanding condition!  It's really been kept in very good condition!
