has 30% higher capacity for anionic contaminants (e.g. carbonic acid/bicarbonate/carbonate, as a result of dissolved CO2) than conventional mixed bed ion exchange resins.

Mixed bed ion exchange resin containing 35:65 blend by volume CG8-H-ID 8% crosslinked strongly acidic cation exchange resin with color indicating dye and
ResinTech SBG1P-OH-ID Type I strongly basic anion exchange resin with color indicating dye.
The formulation contains the same components as ResinTech MBD-30, formulated to balance resin capacity (1.32 eq/L), resulting in 30% higher loading capacity than MBD-30. In addition, each component contains color indicating dye for visual confirmation of resin exhaustion. MBD-30 contains indicator dye on SBG1P-OH-ID only. CG8-H-ID has a deep violet color, changing to amber upon exhaustion. SBG-1P-OH-ID has a deep blue color, changing to amber upon exhaustion. Color changing dyes on both resins provide a more accurate assessment of resin exhaustion, significantly reducing the frequency of resin changes.
