Bachelorette’s Devin Strader ‘messaged’ Ashley Iaconetti’s pal before finale

Ashley Iaconetti has claimed that Devin Strader was being dishonest with Jenn Tran before The Bachelorette season 21 finale.
Speaking on the September 4 episode of her Almost Famous podcast she told co-host Ben Higgins how Devin had allegedly messaged one of her friends on social media before the drama unfolded in the finale.
She said: “Within the past week, I heard from a really good friend who said that Devin had slid into her DMs.”
Ben then asked if the friend was a member of the Bachelor Nation to which Ashley said she wasn’t adding “which makes it worse.”
She explained further: “This girl followed him, just because she’s been a fan of him from the show, liked his personality. Then, he DM’d her.”
The season finale aired on September 3 and fans were left stunned when Jenn and Devin announced that they had broken up after getting engaged in Hawaii.
Jenn opened up during the After the Final Rose special, admitting that Devin’s feelings had changed almost immediately when they left Hawaii.
She said: “As soon as we had left Hawai’i, things were just different. It kind of just felt like he was pulling away all the promises that he had made to me – wanting to move somewhere together, and wanting to have this future planned out, and wanting to see each other all the time.”
Jenn then told host Jesse Palmer how she had stopped receiving calls and texts from Devin, and grew “confused.”

Then he eventually called her back just to end the relationship. She said: “He called me, and he basically broke off the engagement. He said he didn’t love me anymore, feel the same way and felt like something had been off since the second that he proposed. He regretted getting engaged.”
Jenn then broke down over Devin’s actions after he had ended things with her. “What I can’t understand is everything that you did after we’ve broken our engagement,” she sobbed.
Jenn continued: “Ending the engagement on a phone call, and the next day, I wake up to you following girls on Instagram – not just any girl, but Maria [Georgas]. Not only is that so disrespectful to everything that we had shared together, I just don’t understand it.”
She then pleaded: “Why would you do something like that? Because it completely invalidated our entire relationship, everything that I had felt for you, everything that we’d felt for each other.”
